The river "Amper" gave my homeland its name - "Ampertal" (Amper - Valley). It is not a spectacular landscape and is criss-crossed with many electricity pylons and wires. A power plant stands dominant in the middle of the valley and is visible from almost everywhere with its chimney. And yet this area has its charms and a special flora and fauna. On long walks or bike rides on which I always carry my Leicas, I have tried to implement spontaneous impressions in quick photos, a simple sketch.
