Since 1990 I travelled mostly together with a good friend of mine to Tibet. At this time it was not so easy to travel in Tibet and for the most areas a special permit was neccesary. My friend elaborated new tours for his company as a tour guide so we get each permit we needed – sometimes with supervisor. Each tour we made owns a special topic. So we travelled mostly on steps of famous explorers like John F. Rock, Sven Hedin or Heinrich Harrer and Peter Aufschnaiter. Our team always was very small: a Chinese guide, one or two locals, a driver when needed. Thereby we come very closed to the natives. It was my utmost concern to preserve the culture and ancient customes because it's disappearing. I'm deeply grateful to the people either this one which helped us or all those which trust in me and let make a photograph. Tashi delek - བཀྲ་ཤིས་བདེ་ལེགས
